OPAL
EMPHASIS ON
LOW WEIGHT
Opal is designed to carry a lot – but to weigh little. The flexible structure, without reinforcing sections, offers considerable weight saving in comparison with conventional designs. The structure consists of a front section with brackets for attaching stabilising tipping cylinders and a sturdy rear section for mounting bearing blocks and tailgates.
Our decades of experience from our in-house production of the “Ilsbo trailer”, amongst others, and the know-how we have gained from building other chassis types, have enabled us to develop a unique design, fully adapted for use with our Opal buckets.

HALF-PIPE BUCKET DESIGN
The design, with its half-pipe bucket section, ensures safe tipping. The material you are transporting, whatever its type, unloads easily during tipping and helps ensure good vehicle stability. A vibrator can be installed in the front section to handle sticky loads.
HANDLES THE TOUGH STUFF
A unique bucket design, where both the chassis and the bucket are designed to handle the toughest work. A stable design, where many years of experience have helped us design our Opal semitrailer.
COMBI-TRAILER – A DURABLE,
FLEXIBLE COMBINATION
We started with our Opal bucket, and developed a combi bucket for asphalt distribution. The bucket is insulated with air gaps, has a two-part asphalt compartment, and a two-layer cover, ensuring a wide range of options when it comes to ensuring appropriate payload volumes for different vehicle types – perfect when you want route flexibility.
The weight analysis shows that the Opal semitrailer offers benefits well worth considering!

HB500 –
ALWAYS THE SAME
Hardness is measured in the Brinell scale, a Swedish invention used for determining the hardness of different materials. To determine the hardness of steel, a small ball made of hardened steel is forced with a pressure of 3,000 kg into the steel to be tested. The measurements of the imprint that is formed provides numerical results, which are expressed by the Brinell Hardness number – HB. Different numbers in combination with HB (for example HB500) represent the hardness and quality of the steel. This means that steel with the same HB-number always have the same hardness, regardless of manufacturer.
We assure you that we always choose the right steel for our products so that we can achieve the highest quality and maximum service life – and that a steel with the HB-number 500 is always equally tough, regardless of brand.
